Lee Smolin, in his book “The Trouble with Physics” [Houghton Mifflin, 2006], argues against the obsession that most physicists, academic researchers, and scientific facilities have with string theory. I know I am arriving a bit late to this game; I only got hand of the book after returning from from Canada, and I have been very busy these weks since then. "Big-Bang Theory" - the TV Series stereotypes physicists (theoretical and experimental), jews and engineers, indians and astrophysicists, artists and comic book fans. Believe it or not, but I've been reading a book on theoretical physics. Two recent popular science books provide a startling peek into the deep scientific and sociological troubles in the world of superstring theory. Book Review: Lee Smolin, The Trouble with Physics.
